Toronto Network Hour - Virtual
May 21, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Network Hour is a one-hour, informal virtual session where CIOs and IT leaders connect to share insights, ask questions, and learn from one another. Unlike webinars or vendor presentations, this is a space for open, peer-led discussion — no slides, no sales pitches.
Our May discussion will focus on Vibe Coding
AI-assisted development has evolved quickly from simple code suggestions into fully conversational development workflows. Many organizations are now experimenting with “vibe coding” - using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf and others to rapidly build applications, automate tasks, prototype ideas, and accelerate development work.
We’d like to hear how this is impacting your teams and organizations:
- What tools are your developers actually using?
- Where have you seen the biggest productivity gains?
- What problems or risks have surfaced?
- How are you handling governance, security, and code quality?
- Has this changed the skills you look for in developers?
- What has worked surprisingly well? What hasn’t?
We’ll kick things off with a quick round of introductions, followed by open discussion.
As a Toronto Chapter member, you should receive an invitation email to this virtual event. If you have not received the invitation and would like to attend, please contact CIOCAN.Toronto.Chapter@ciocan.ca.
