Network Hour is a one-hour, informal virtual session where CIOs and IT leaders connect to share insights, ask questions, and learn from one another. Unlike webinars or vendor presentations, this is a space for open, peer-led discussion — no slides, no sales pitches.
Our April discussion will focus on AI Cost Management, Token Utilization & Licensing Models
As AI adoption accelerates, so does the complexity of managing its costs. From token-based pricing and credit consumption to seat-based licensing, many of us are navigating new and often unpredictable cost structures.
This session will focus on how we as CIOs are approaching:
- Managing and forecasting AI-related costs (tokens, credits, usage-based models)
- Evaluating tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude.ai / Claude Code, M365 Copilot, and others
- Governance and controls to prevent runaway usage
- Balancing experimentation with cost discipline
- Lessons learned and open questions we’re still working through
We’ll kick things off with a quick round of introductions, followed by open discussion.
